Peaslee Elementary, Northboro:4 Seasons

The theme chosen for this school's mosaics was New England scenery through the seasons. Drawings were done by all grades (k-5) in art class. I arranged sketches into these 4 murals, sizing up and down the imagery as needed. I love kids' art, and regretted having to leave out some really good drawings for want of space. All grades participated in laying the tile. This project had fabulous support, as the whole idea was generated by a mom who had taken a mosaic class. Kendra Owen was there every step of the way and deserves kudos for arranging for more than 50 parent volunteers to assist. It was a great project and everyone involved had a blast!!!
