A mosaic for a retiring Latin teacher. Long live LATIN and LATIN TEACHERS!! It was so fun to make this 'beware of the dog' mosaic and put in lots of Roman mosaic patterns - from the wave border to the Opus Tesselatum of the dog's body, Opus Circumactum of the background, and Opus Vermiculatum which hugs the body. My most 'classic' mosaic to date. And the lovely dog is Echo, a Springer Spaniel owned by the Latin teacher.

A few words about PRICING
Laying mosaic tile is a piece by piece operation. My work is very intricate,detailed and time consuming to execute. I do all my own designing - I have been an illustrator
for the past 15years - and may do several sketches before arriving at a 'finished' sketch.
The square foot price generally ranges from 100$ to 300$ a square foot.
Included in the price :
Some designs may be simplified to bring down the cost. I am always concerned with providing the highest quality product at the best price I can offer.
